Date Updates

Could we have the Trip dates linked with the Booking dates? For instance, sometimes I'll set up a trip with certain dates and then get an additional booking that's outside of the original dates and I'll forget to go update the Trip dates. Just wondering if there's a way to get the Trip dates to automatically update according to the Booking dates.

Automatically update trip dates when booking dates are entered/changed

The trip dates should follow the dates of the booking so they don't have to be added again

Trip Dates are now updating when a booking is made in Sabre and auto-imports into a Trip. However, what is being picked up is ONLY the dates of the booking in Sabre! For example, I booked a pre-cruise hotel in Sabre and the dates above the Trip Name make it appear that the entire trip is JUST that one night. Same thing happened when I booked a one-way air segment to the embarkation port of a very long cruise - the Trip Dates changed to 16Jun26-16Jun26 because that is the date of the air in Sabre. So heads-up to anyone booking reservations in Sabre - your Trip Dates will need to be edited once that reservation imports to TS. This has further ramifications if you use the "auto-calculation" of a number of days Before or After the Trip Start or Trip End dates in your tasks.

This is not necessarily something that is in sync. A booking might be for on or two days of an entire trip

Agree if TS updated the dates with bookings outside of original dates it would be incredibly helpful.

Could trip dates automatically update when segment dates have been changed?

In this same vein, with trips that have a booking in Sabre, I've noticed if there is a schedule change or any sort of change to the booking in Sabre, the trip dates revert to the dates for the Sabre booking only. Please make that stop :)
